What’s with the name LazyMeter? Are you going to show me how lazy I am?
The problem with to-do lists is that they’re overwhelming. No matter how much you do, there’s more to be done. As a result, people feel lazy. The idea of LazyMeter is not to show you how lazy you are; it’s to show you how productive you are. We show you how much you’ve done, so you can feel good at the end of the day.
Are you a replacement for my calendar?
LazyMeter is not a replacement for a calendar – it is a replacement for your to-do list. Calendars do a great job for things that need to be scheduled. Calendars fail when things need to be done on a day, but not at a specific time. These are the things that are most likely to be forgotten or put off.
How much does LazyMeter cost?
LazyMeter is curently free. Our goal is to continue to offer a basic version for free, with premium subscription options. If we are to make a drastic change to our model, we will give our users sufficient notice, and we’ll make sure you can export your data.
How does LazyMeter compare to other task managers?
See our blog post LazyMeter: Not Another Task Manager.
How does LazyMeter help with procrastination?
Procrastination has many causes. Part of the problem is being overwhelmed by a long to-do list, not being able to recall the right things to do at the right time, and not feeling a sense of reward when work is done. LazyMeter is flipping procrastination on its head, creating an experience that makes users want to get through their day, so that they can feel good and move onto quality free time. LazyMeter helps users focus on one day at a time. We give users credit for making progress on a big task, and we make it easy to reschedule things for later.
