Productivity is Broken
There’s a mistaken belief that people are inherently lazy. Actually, they’re overwhelmed. As a result, they forget to do things, and they procrastinate. With the size of the average to-do list, it’s no surprise. Our inboxes are overflowing with information. Each new app and blog takes up more of our time. No matter how much we do, there’s more to be done.
Most people still use pen and paper to keep track of what they have to do. Others try task management software, but most return to pen and paper because it’s faster. The problem is the to-do list itself: it stresses you out, promotes procrastination and fails to remind you. When it comes to our tasks, we’re still in the dark ages, as if we’re still using a Rolodex to keep track of phone numbers.
We’re Fixing It
LazyMeter shows you that you aren’t lazy. We’re restoring the satisfaction that comes from a hard day’s work.
Our company is built on the core belief that how you feel at the end of the day is more important than how much you get done. We are changing the way you measure productivity, from hours at a desk to getting through what needs to be done. We believe if you finish your work, you should go home early.
Our to-do list directly impacts our quality of life. With the right tools, we can get more done in less time and feel better at the end of the day. Not only will we have more free time – we’ll have higher quality free time, because we won’t have to wonder if we’re forgetting something.
Our goal is to take task management out of the dark ages, replacing to-do lists and task managers with the first task processor. We are revolutionizing the way people communicate task-oriented information, beginning with how you communicate with yourself.
